Megan Estrada, Founder & Lead Event Consultant of NSWE Events

Megan is a seasoned wedding and event industry professional who has been in the event planning and hospitality industry for over 20 years. In 2011, after spending years as a Director of Catering for luxury hotels, she decided to bring her experience and insider industry knowledge to the client, by opening North Shore Weddings & Events, now known as NSWE Events.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Megan Estrada established the NACE Covid-19 Task Forces, in Illinois, Florida, New York, Massachusetts and Virginia, which worked with state and city governments to create the safety guidelines. She is an event industry leader having held the position as National Advocacy Committee Chair for the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE).

In 2024, she released a memoir called “Life of the Party Girl: A Memoir of Celebration and Trauma" a raw and inspiring debut memoir of a top wedding planner reflecting on the moments that define us as human beings, both the traumatic and fantastic.​ Life of the Party Girl follows Estrada’s journey to self-worth and self-discovery.

Lifestyle Architect & Branding Designer

Erica Powell is a luxury business coach, strategist, and branding designer with 25 years of experience in high-end sales, having closed millions in luxury transactions and helping her clients do the same. A former platinum event planner and international publisher, she specializes in helping entrepreneurs attract and close $10k-$100k client contracts through strategic sales and marketing coaching, luxurious retreats, immersive summits, and custom branding services. Her work equips service-based business owners in the B2B, events, home, wellness, and lifestyle industries with the tools and support needed to scale successfully in the luxury market. Erica’s passion is focused around supporting business owners build powerful and profitable teams and automated revenue streams to create a business and life they love.

In 2006, Natalie Dawley launched Two Be Wed, a premier wedding consulting and event design firm in Houston, Texas. Within a year, her team tripled in size, training and staffing over two dozen wedding planners and executing hundreds of weddings. Two Be Wed has been recognized nationally and internationally, earning accolades like Top Wedding Planner in Texas by Brides.com and features in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Carats & Cake, and The New York Times, as well as appearances on Good Morning America.

Houston in late April typically brings warm temperatures. Historical data indicates that from April 28 to April 30, the average daily high temperatures range from approximately 76°F to 82°F , while average daily lows vary between 61°F and 66°F. We recommend bringing light jackets for evening activities as much will be outside, weather permitting.

Do you have to be a member to attend? 
No. You can attend our retreats as a non member pending availability. We recommend being a member as members receive a $100 discount to retreats. 

What is included?
It includes all meals, education, beverages (unless cash bar is stated) plus all transportation

How much is the Hotel if I want to stay onsite? 
The Four Seasons Houston has offered a special industry rate of $255++ for the Laura and $219++. Our room block is extremely limited for this event so please make a reservation as soon as possible.

What do I wear?
Please see the attire section on this page. These are simply guides, please dress to your comfort. It will be updated accordingly.

Cancellations and Refunds: 
All sales are final though your ticket is transferable to another guest. If you cannot attend this event, please email info@emergeeventcollective.com so we can potentially pull someone from our waitlist (we cannot guarantee a waitlist or that you will receive a refund) or you can find a friend to go in your place and copy us on the email.
